Welfare

As with all sports at Cambridge, Welfare is very important to CUB. We strive to maintain a safe and healthy environment and a positive club culture, not only for our members, but also for other people and oranisations that are affected by the activities of the club.

Welfare Officer(s)

The club has at least one Welfare Officer each year. The purpose of the Welfare Officer(s) is to serve as an initial contact point for members of the club with concerns. They provide a confidential service in listening to matters of concern to members, and signposting them to serivces that may be of use to them, within the University and without.

The Welfare Officer(s) also maintain the welfare policies of the club and advise the committee on matters of welfare and to develop appropriate codes of conduct. For a full list of responsibilities, and details of the club's welfare systems, please read the welfare policy:

The Welfare Officer(s) are reachable in person at practice sessions, or by the welfare email, welfare@cubowmen.com. Note that this email address is linked to a shared inbox, so if you would prefer to speak to one Officer in particular, it may be best to approach them directly.

Complaints and Concerns

Any issues should be reported to the Welfare Officer(s) in the first instance. However, if there is no resolution or if you feel the issue is more serious, complaints can be made via the AGB reporting procedure.
